Training Log (7/1) 5 mile run (29 for week)
Scorching out on the boardwalk for the scheduled 5 to close out the week AND the 10 week base-building stage of my NYC Marathon training. Tomorrow starts week 1 of 18 of the official training program. My goal going into next week (and the next few months) was to have a good base (29 miles this week) and to be injury free (knee, IT band, lower back, and hammy all good right now).
I’m also starting my fundraising campaign for cancer research and hope to strike a good balance between raising funds and not annoying everyone I know :) Onward and upward!
